Q.7. A and B Were Partners in a Firm Sharing Profits in 3:2 Ratio. They Admitted C for 3/7 Share Which He Took 2/7 from a and 1/7 from B. Calculate New Profit Sharing Ratio?

SOLUTION

Partner A and B old profit sharing ratio = 3:2

They Partner D’s share =3/7 , He Took 2/7 from a and 1/7 from B

partner’s Sacrificing share

A = 2/7

B = 1/7

Partner’s new share = old share – sacrificing share

A = 3/5 – 2/7

=11/35

B = 2/5 – 1/7

=9/35

Partner profit sharing ratio = 11:9:15
